Knot breaks.

I have been having some trouble with my knots breaking. I have use what I call the trilene knot for decades and also recently the palomar knot. Both seem to break at times. I am using 12-14 lb monofilament leader on my braided line. When it breaks there is a little “curly Q” left where it breaks. I am assuming it is the knot that is breaking and not just the line. Any help would be appreciated!!

Never have a problem with uni-to-lure or uni-to-uni line-to-line ties. 5 turns inside the circle is all you need.
